I guess if I am going brag that I am a CHAMPION one day, I need to also admit when I am NOT…
The cumulative effects of radiation therapy has taken it’s toll and I’ve been sidelined from the gym for a few days. In fact, so tired I didn’t even wake up until 10 am this morning! I’ll take it as a sign that the cancer ass kicking is working! The radiation burns under my left arm (pictured below) and under Lefty (not pictured) are very painful and need to stay still and dry to heal properly.
So, smarter heads prevail and I will remain sidelined (temporarily). Thankfully, I finish up radiation next week and will move onto the next step in my cancer ass kicking mission. 🙂
oooohhh Deb…looks painful. Be a good patient and get some well deserved rest!! It will make you stronger for the next cancer ass kicking! Love you, Gail
Sleep and do more sleeping. Your body is asking for that…listen to it. You will always be a champ. Sorry for the pain you are feeling!
